Can we just appreciate how hot the Daaes are??
Yes.

ALWAYS REBLOG MYSTERY LEGENDS
I love how Erik just interrupts the scenery here. Jeez, how rude. We’re trying to admire the foggy dressing room, Erik, stop standing in front of it like a kid standing in front of the TV when I’m trying to watch “The King of Queens.”
I’ll bet you Erik does this all the time. Christine’s trying to have a conversation with Meg, and he just slides right in between the two of them:
Erik: Christine. What are you doing?
Christine: Oh! Erik! You frightened me! I was just…*cranes neck to try to see Meg* I was just talking to Meg about the costumes from—
Erik: I have not seen you in 7.3 minutes. 7.3 minutes in which you could have grievously injured yourself and I would not have been there to prevent it. I am now agitated and you are clearly distraught. Hold my hand immediately.
Christine: …What?
Or Nadir’s just, I don’t know, hanging out with Madame Giry having tea and Erik slides in between the two of them:
Nadir: ARG! Erik!
Erik: Good afternoon, Nadir.
Nadir: Will you stop doing that? You are going to give me a heart attack! Look, I’ve spilled tea everywhere!
Erik: I cannot help it if your fingers are too stubby to properly grasp a teacup. Now. I have not seen you for 7.3 minutes in which you could have possibly perished in one of the booby traps and I do not relish the thought of scrubbing your entrails out of the walls—
Mme Giry: For the love of God, can’t we have one minute of peace and quiet without your poking your nose into our business?!
Erik:……………………….
Mme Giry: You bet I went there, you big fat booby.

“I see nothing of note, at the moment.”
:standing in a room with a swirling black caped masked ghost figure emitting ethereal blacklight from the mirror and calling out to you for a rose and your love:
“I see nothing of note, at the moment.”
The ruins of the opera house stand as a tomb to unrequited love. Though long abandoned, an undying ghost still wanders its halls, plotting the return of his heart’s desire. Discover the history that haunts the opera house and face all of its challenges. Confront the man behind the mask and…
Little moment of appreciation for this game.
And I have to say, I found this Phantom quite hot. It’s just something about the mask, the hood, the cloak, the gloves, and the way he would constantly bellow, “WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?!??!!”
I really love this game. Even though I really suck at hidden object games. Or really, just games in general. But I really enjoyed playing this one… Even if the plot was a bit… erm… desturbing. (Phantom now kidnaps and pursues the love of Christine and Raoul’s daughter… Wat…) But atmosphere is deliciously creepy and mysterious, and the art is BEAUTIFUL. I played this one in my basement to add to the creepiness, and I’ll admit that it seriously scared me out of my wits several times. Partly because it was pretty creepy, but mostly because I’m a huge wuss and very easily frightened XD (Although, in my defense, it didn’t help that as I was playing it in my basement in near-pitch darkness, the only lamp I had on in the room decided to flicker and go out just as the Phantom did his whole “BOOM!” CRASHY IN YOUR FACE thing he would do in the mirror every now and then.)
And yes, the Phantom’s voice in this is incredibly yummy.
And on a side note, what is it with Phantoms and their Christine mannequins??? Why does this pop up all the time? Or in this case it was a Christine, a Phantom, AND Raoul mannequin hanging from the ceiling… wtf…
But I digress. Basically, I really love this game… although the ending was incredibly disappointing. But the dark atmosphere, the music, and air of mystery was great.
